These Zero Optik rehousings have silky smooth focus rotation courtesy of spring loaded, Cooke-style, cams. The old design used brass threads to guide the focus element which would cause the threads to bind while using clip on matteboxes. The new housings have consistent gear locations, 95mm outer diameter fronts, and stainless steel PL mounts.
